As a distinguished member of the Board of Bishops, Bishop Hunter overseas the Cape Fear Conference of The Eastern Episcopal District; as well as the Mid-Atlantic | Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church.
The Board of Bishops is responsible for the general supervision of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church.
Presiding Elder Florence supervises the Clarkton District of the Cape Fear Conference.
Mount Pleasant is one of the churches in the Clarkton District under her care.
